Caribbean women are making a name for themselves!

They’re kicking down doors and breaking through glass ceilings.

However, despite the hard work that they’re putting into their careers, they still continue to face a number of hurdles, especially when it comes to the world of entrepreneurship.

In this panel discussion, three women entrepreneurs working throughout the Caribbean Region — Linda Kondwani Nyirenda (Martinique), Shermalyn Sidonie-John (Saint Lucia) and Karen De Freitas (Saint Vincent & The Grenadines) — will share the experiences that led to their entrepreneurial spirit, their many wins and losses, as well their hopes and dreams for the future.

In this session with La Fleur Quammie, UN Country Coordination Officer for Saint Vincent & The Grenadines, we will be discussing some of the major issues faced by women living in the region.
